At the castle we have created a small Museum of Balloon Manufacturing History. You can experience the development and production of hot air balloons in Czechoslovakia and later in the Czech Republic. You will see how our fathers and grandfathers started flying with and how they dealt with the challenges of their time. You will be able to touch many exhibits and watch films, photographs, and historical documents. You might even find your own balloon among them or get inspired for your own lifepath.
The museum does not have regular opening hours. We are happy to open it for you by phone appointment at +420 734 44 30 30. Come to see the story of Czech balloon manufacturing!
Part of the museum collection is a digitized collection of original photographs and documents, which can be viewed at your leisure through a special kiosk.
The grand opening of the museum was attended by the legendary OK-3010 - the oldest hot air balloon made in the Czech Republic.
